queerguru applauds the high-volume mass-market fashion retailer H&M for their attempts to raise awareness for more sustainability with their World Recycle Week project which kicks in from Monday 18th May. They are encouraging shoppers to bring in unwanted clothes to be recycled, but we think that would be so much better than going to all this effort to attempt to promote themselves as caring so much about our environment if they didn’t actually produce such throwaway fashion in the first place.
Despite our mixed feelings we do love the song ‘Rewear It’ that the rapper M.I.A. wrote for the Campaign and performs in this new video.
