There is an extraordinary new movie called Loving Vincent about the artist Van Gogh which is in the works right now. Each single frame is an oil painting. At 12 paintings per second, that’s 720 paintings in just one minute. So far over 100 artists fluent in Van Gogh’s style have contributed.
The film itself is a biopic about Van Gogh’s life and his mysterious death. It is told entirely through characters and landscapes that he brought alive in his paintings, and will feature 120 of his most famous works.
Loving Vincent is being produced by Trademark Films and BreakThru films … the latter also produced ‘Joan Rivers A Piece of Work’ ….. and they are still looking to recruit more artists to help them finish the movie
