London opens the World’s first ever VAGINA MUSEUM

If you are in London this Holiday season and are looking for something (very) different to do , then head down to Camden Market where the World’s first ever Vagina Museum has just opened.

It’s inaugural exhibit Muff Busters: Vagina Myths and How To Fight Them, is quite an eye opener especially for anyone who hasn’t thought of vaginas for a long time.

The small Museum has  informational posters and sculptures, a small shop with vaginally themed products, and an events calendar that includes a dinner for Trans Day of Remembrance and “Cliterature” (book club) meetings.  If you were expecting to see ancient fertility sculptures, medieval chastity belts or Victorian-era vibrators on display then you are going to disappointed as they have nothing like that.

The Vagina Museum seems to have taken great strides not to emulate Iceland’s famous penis museum in any way at all as this  has some nearly 300 penises on display making it one of  Reykjavik’s top tourist attractions.  Iceland’s Museum has a somewhat humorous side to its exhibit, whereas London’s latest museum takes itself a lot more serious.
