If you are a QUEERGURU subscriber them you’ll probably remember that we are mega-fans of young Brit queer auteur JOSEPH WILSON.   We avidly look for any of his wildly imaginative work that are inspired by the ‘Alternative Drag/Genderqueer culture in London’s East End that he has become a major force.

Here Is his latest film IL WIDNA a short dystopian film that follows a group of unapologetically queer warriors , forced  to flee the UK after the introduction of Thatcher’s homophobic laws circa 1988.  Catching sight of this on a Monday morning has made our week ……. ane there’s more to come.  On Wednesday thanks to the powers of the internet (!) we’ll be filming an interview via Facetime with Joseph.
