Back in 2022 in those days heady days when there was a real President in The White House and the only time we mentioned ice was when pouring out a drink, four queer friends connected around the idea of building a queer & trans library.  Fast forward three years, and the country is in the hands of The Orange Man, who we swear has never read a single book in his life, and he is at the helm of a whole fascist movement that wants to ban books… and even go as far as burn them too.  The need for a Queer Library has taken on a whole new importance,

Luckily for our community, those 4 friends have been far from idle, and with a whole army of volunteers behind them, and some promised funding ahead of them, it actually looks like the QT Library may even open in Boston in time for Pride 2026.

There has never been a time more urgent than now to come together as a united community and not just support the QT Library but celebrate its full potential.  Good news seems to  be a rarity these days, so it was a joy to be able to talk with Jake Stepansky, one of the co-founders, and share the excitement of what they have achieved so far and discover HOW WE CAN HELP THIS NOT JUST BE A REALITY BUT A ROARING SUCCESS
