The Frank Gehry designed Fondation Louis Vuitton Museum and Cultural Center that is adjacent to the Jardin d’Acclimatation in the Bois de Boulogne is one of the most stunning buildings in the whole of Paris. Opened in 2014 at a reported cost of $143 million the building was financed by LMVH the parent company of the Louis Vuitton brand.
The Museum’s current exhibition Icons Of Modern Art: The Shchukin Collection, pays tribute to noted art patron Sergei Shchukin, with an exhibition of his unmatched collection of French modern art, shown together for the first time since 1948 and including works by iconic modern masters, from impressionists Cézanne and Degas to rule-breakers Picasso and Matisse.
To mark the occasion Brit director Andy Margetson has filmed Chicago-born street dancer Lil Buck on a light-footed tour which is truly inspired way of showing off both the building and the art ……plus of course Buck’s own artistry.
