Fess up time. After seeing the fabulous WEST SIDE STORY, winner of a record 10 Oscars, didn’t you want to grab a hairbrush and mime ‘I Feel Pretty’ in the privacy of your own home? Or was that just us?
Well anyway, Stephen Spielberg is giving you a chance to repeat your performance in public as he is not only undertaking the enormous task of re-making this classic movie, but there is an OPEN CASTING CALL so you can actually audition to play Maria on the big screen. Or Tony if that is your thing.
Usually, remakes often fail to repeat the magic of the original, but TONY KUSHNER is writing the script, and if you get the part, then maybe this one will work.
