Out gay actor and activist George Takei who has just finished the Broadway run of Allegiance the musical based on his life in an Internment Camp during WW2, celebrates his 79th Birthday today. Also blowing out a lot of candles on his birthday is the veteran actor Leslie Phillips who first found fame playing bounders and rather harmless womenizers in quintessential British comedies in the 1950’s. Phillips is celebrating his 92nd birthday and true to the screen persona he created, he married his 3rd wife when he was a mere 89 years old. He uttered his catchphrase every time he caught sight of a pretty woman..
