We’ve only just come across Joel Dantas-Shoemaker on FB, and his reel on hypocritical queer people stopped us in our tracks. This being the same week that the slimy Milo Yiannopoulos got deported back to the UK, as it seems, his honeymoon with The Orange Man and the Far Far Right was finally over. He is a former editor of Breitbart News, the American far-right news and opinion website, and is known for his opposition to Islam, feminism, and social justice. And of course, homosexuality.
In 2017, Yiannopoulos supported Trump’s ban on transgender personnel in the United States military, going further to suggest Trump should also ban women from frontline combat units. Later that year, he married his boyfriend of 10 years but then promptly opposed same-sex marriage in Australia
Two years later, Yiannopoulos was grand marshal for a straight pride parade in Boston, organised by a group called Super Happy Fun America. The parade was ostensibly to celebrate heterosexuality. Then, in 2021, he declared that he was an ex-gay and would begin advocating on behalf of improving the public image of gay conversion therapy and announced that he was fundraising for a gay conversion therapy centre in Florida. As of April 2026, he is in a divorce case with his estranged husband
He is one of the stars of Dantas-Shoemaker’s Gay Hall of Shame or the Rainbow Razzies: all better known as the Golden Stream of Shame-Filled Grifters. They comprise of out-queer people who are using their own positions to hurt other LGBTQ people, and this first list consists of six of them that we all despise. The 5 others are AARON SCHOCK, CAITLYN JENNER, SCOTT BESAANT, and BARI WEISS. Plus, there is an honorable mention for Apple’s TIM COOK, who actually gave The Orange Man an Award! They are 100% definitely the worst sellouts ever,
