The Boyfriend, a Japanese gay Dating Show TV series on Netflix, is back for a second season.  It is probably the most earnest and puritanical approach to finding a partner or love interest we have ever seen. It matters not how cute or well-qualified, it’s just never going to happen.  No one is that polite and restrained looking for a mate.  But is behaving ‘badly’ an option either?    Well, potty-mouthed lesbian comedian Jessica Kirson thinks it is .  She’s hosting the newest entry into the field of getting gay men hooked up romantically. 

Yes, we can hear the rumbling … it is really down to having to rely now on a lesbian for us to find love, or get laid, or both?  We let a straight girl like Dannii Minogue with her show, I Kissed A Boy have a go, so maybe it’s time for Ms Kirson to try her hand.  She is, after all, one of the funniest and quick-witted performers around today, and she seems to be really passionate about interferring ….I mean helping .
