As QUEERGURU gets ready to migrate South for the winter like the good ‘snowbirds’ that we are, others here in Provincetown are also taking their temporary leave. ERIC LESH a figurative artist, P Town gallery owner, (and LGBTQ rights lawyer) is heading West to Palm Springs where Jaco Moretti Arts is mounting a solo show of his latest work entitled The Drawing Room.
In the four years since Lesh moved to PTown to open his Gallery he continues to collaborate with life-models in New York, Provincetown, and across the world and he also hosts a life drawing class each Tuesday night at the Gifford House. His artwork has been featured in solo shows in NYC, Miami, Provincetown, Denver, Allentown, and more.
Just in case you should think moving to PTown meant a slower pace of life for this ex Director of the Fair Courts Project at Lambda Legal, who served as Executive Director of th LGBT Bar Association of New York, and was recognized as one of the 40 Best LGBTQ+ Lawyers Under 40 by the National LGBTQ+ Bar, you would be so wrong. He serves as President of the Provincetown Business Guild, and still manages to complete over 150 commissioned projects each year for clients.
