You really are taking your life in your hands when reading a newspaper in the US these days.  Never have so many lies been spread by the people and offices we were taught to respect and believe in. So much so that it is nigh on impossible, actually, to know what is really going on in our world.  The only real facts we can know are true is that the US is in the hands of a convicted felon and rapist, and an actual war criminal who is using the White Office to rake in billions of dollars for himself and his family.  It’s going to take us years to undo all the harm he has wreaked on the world, BUT WE WILL DO SO AND ENSURE THAT THERE IS NO SINGULAR TRACE OF HIM.

It’s days like today when one single piece of music allows you not only to escape this living hell for a moment or two, but also reminds you how wonderful life is,  and will be again.

The year is 2018, and the occasion is a lifetime tribute at the Grammys for Sir Elton John. This is such a well-deserved honor not only for the man and his music,  but also for some $200 million and still counting, that he and his husband have raised for the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

Upon the stage is Lady Gaga in an outfit similar to the one he wore when he first sang YOUR SONG.  She captures his outrageousness, but also the sheer beauty of Bernie Taupin’s lyric that brings the house down…… and my spirits soaring high 

This was not the first time they had met, as she was at a 2016 Concert Elton was doing as a  ‘Thank You  Concert ‘ in the streets of West Hollywood for all the town’s support for his AIDS Foundation. Gaga was there singing her heart out in dangerously high-heeled shoes
