Don’t Cry For Me My Yeshiva!

Of course, the title immediately grabbed our attention even though we knew it couldn’t possibly be Madge performing.  Or even Eva.  This bold, hilarious, and powerfully touching new show about a lifelong search for family, love, acceptance, and that elusive rainbow connection is created and performed by Joe Fox. It’s an autobiographical show in which he performs the role of a lifetime.

Part musical parody, part memoir, part love letter to Broadway, this unforgettable evening follows one performer’s journey from the yeshiva classroom to the most unexpected of places. With reimagined show tunes, original songs, and razor-sharp storytelling, Don’t Cry for Me, My Yeshiva promises an evening of laughter, recognition, and standing-ovation-worthy joy.
