Dirty Willy Designer Underwear : pee stained and ready to go

Over the past decade, the New York-based fashion designer  WILLY CHAVARRIA  has created and cultivated a clothing brand (and a reputation) that sells his vision of peace, unity, and tolerance.  It’s helped him develop a hugely successful career and collect two consecutive CFDA American Menswear Designer of the Year awards and win him celebrity friends such as Billie Eilish, Justin Bieber and Kendrick Lamar.  He is quite the rebel, too and his designs are more than clothing—they are declarations of identity, resistance, and the celebration of Chicano and queer culture

His clothing can be found both in high-end boutiques and online, maintaining accessibility without sacrificing meaning. They are a kind of sartorial storytelling, each collection a chapter that explores race, class, and queerness with unflinching honesty. He is also known for his fashion and social commentary,  which he explains why he made a daring entry into intimate apparel with the launch of DIRTY WILLY UNDERWEAR.

Yes. you did read that right. Each piece is finished by hand in New York to achieve a unique, well-worn look. The design choices evoke the gritty, fetish-inspired aesthetics of queer culture, challenging traditional notions of luxury.  Chavarria explains  it thus it’s an exploration of the erotic, the raw, and the unconventional. The DIRTY WILLY UNDERWEAR line features pee-stained briefs and boxer briefs that are as much about making a statement as they are about comfort. With a retail price of $300 for the destroyed briefs and $350 for the boxer briefs, these items are positioned as luxury pieces. Each pair is packaged in a military-inspired “rations” metallic envelope, following the rugged, utilitarian vibe of the collection. Dont go looking  for them at TXMaxx and Marshalls (!) as they are only available at a range of select retailers such as high-end fashion boutiques and  niche sex shops’
