Cynthia Nixon gives Andy Cohen a lesbian history lesson whilst on his TV Show

Can this week get any better for us queers in the US?     First, the Blue Tsunamai, which gave us the politicians we really deserve and who  will help us restore our faith in society. God bless the ladies on The View and late-night hosts such as Jimmy Kimmel for keeping us sane and always giving us hope.

Then, like a cherry on top, Andy Cohen serves us a real treat with Jessica Chastain and Cynthia Nixon on his TV show together.  WOW!  She was asked  who her fave lesbians of all time were, and she mentioned Sappho and Ellie. This was a great learning opportunity for Andy Cohen, who needed the tea on Roosevelt’s sexuality. Like most historical figures, it’s an obvious read if you look between the lines. Nixon dished on Roosevelt and her rumored longtime lover, Lorena Hickok, and their alleged love triangle with straight but gay for attention in a Katy Perry way, Amelia Earhart.

Cohen was using the occasion to brush up on his (poor) knowledge of lesbian history, which Cynthia Nixon was more than happy to fill in.  My we so love her.

Aside from bringing us up to speed on which women in history were gay and who were not, Queerguru still has two unanswered questions.  First, where did Ms. Nixon get that totally fabulous suit, and second, what the hell did Andy do with his beehive hairstyle?

PS: Back in 2016, Queerguru got to sit down at the PTown Film Festival to talk with Herself
