One of the things the English are proud of is calling things as they really are, no beating about the bush for them. A spade is a spade after all. So when stylist and creative director Frank Strachan want to create a new sexy queer magazine he simply called it CROTCH.
He had gotten the inspiration to start his mag after finding so much of his sexier work for other publications was frowned upon. This is a part of an unacceptable homophobic trend nowadays when all the SM platforms are censoring the merest hint of a naked elbow (let alone …….)
Even Frank was shocked to discover that the very first issue of CROTCH with TIM KRUGER on the cover sold out in LESS THAN HALF A HOUR. It was immediately reprinted. In 12 issues to date the magazine has gone on to continue showcasing sexually confident men in varying states of undress, but always aesthetically and beautifully shot. It has become so successful that sold out early editions are highly collectable now.
