Sunday is always the right day to share happy queer news, and you must have been on another planet if you didn’t already see that two-time Tony Winner BEN PLATT married actor Noah Galvin his BF for the past 4 years. They had met when Galvin took over the lead role from Platt in DEAR EVAN HANSEN on Broadway in 2017. This was the role for which Platt became the youngest person to ever win a Tony at the time (he was a mere 24).
Now aged 30, with a Grammy, Emmy and (2) Tonys he is just an Oscar away from becoming the 20th member of the coveted EGOT Club
Currently Platt is on nationwide Concert Tour but here he is very much in love with his new hubby and Cherry On Top.
PS. We fell for Mr Platt at the Grammy Awards 22 years ago when he was part of a tribute to all those in the music industry who had died that year. He sings Not A Day Goes By ….. then is joined on stage by Cynthia Ervio singing Send In The Clouds. Next up is Leslie Odom Jnr before being joined by Rachel Ziegler singing Somewhere from West Side Story . Perfect quartet perfect occasion perfect excuse to re-watch it again….
