Manspreading is an old phenomenon which is finally getting people’s attention, and not always in a good way. The word itself finally made it’s way into the Oxford English Dictionary so we know it is now ‘official,’ but that has cut no ice with Korean college student Jiyo Hong who has started a one-man campaign to get men to finally close their legs.
His big idea was to put orange heart shaped sticks on the floor of the subway in Seoul showing men how to sit properly … just like ladies do already. Hing says that putting feet together makes for a happier subway …. (although it is kind of tough if you have a big package).
