Buttmitzvah , London’s ultimate queer Jewish party is again taking over the iconic drop-dead gorgeous Troxy for an epic Purim simcha, and that’s no April Fools.
They will be celebrating the booziest, most extravagantly costumed Jewish holiday.
The line up includes a spectacular Purim treat from The Rimmers, a Hamantaschen eating competition, mass chair dancing, a kaleidoscope of klezmer, Shofar blowing, kosher-ish catering, Mrs Elswood giveaways, Ru Paulstein’s Purim Parade, a Queen Esther vs Queen Vashti dance off. And free entry to anybody named Haman (you may be heckled).
DRESSCODE: Pure fancy dress extravaganza. Purim is the Jewish Halloween. Clowns, cowboys, masks, biblical surrealness. Other than jeans and a plain t-shirt you cannot go wrong. Prizes for best costume!
