A new mini-magazine has just been launched out into the world for boys who like men and who don’t take themselves too seriously. Produced by Kyle Raymond Fitzpatrick and Bobby Solomon two gay boys based in L.A. who promise that Boy Club will be a celebration of everything boy as it explores the place between gay and post-gay contemporary culture. Most of all it will be fun, which as far as queerguru is concerned, makes for such a refreshing change.

The theme of the first issue which is out now is devoted to being fresh. They discuss what it’s like to be a gay chef in the macho world of cooking with Laurent Quenioux. They spent a day on the job with gay housekeeper Lucky Logan’s Chris Villalobos, who cleans homes in his underwear. They met with Noubar Yessayan to learn how to make the perfect, gayest little quiche. They explored a new take on big bear boys from London based artist Ren. And a whole lot of fresh boy stuff that they claim we will love.

Solomon sums it all up by saying “Being gay is fun! And we wanted to reflect that. That’s been the thing people have latched onto most: it being such an upbeat little mag.”

Boy Club is $15 and can be bought HERE.
