London’s Garden Theatre currently has an excellent double-bill of an all-male jazz ballet Coppelia and The Supermarket Suite. Coppelia’s Offie nominated choreography is provided by William Spencer, who will also premiere his new short work The Supermarket Suite in an exciting evening of narrative theatre dance inspired by the music of The Nutcracker, focusing on the everyday comedy we find in our lives. Coppelia is a timeless classical ballet that has been reimagined to showcase 4 phenomenal dancers and set to the backdrop of a 21st century Soho.
