A Celebration of the life of the iconic Phatima Rude

 

The much beloved Phatima Rude a drag queen who helped to define the raw and genderqueer aesthetics of San Francisco’s drag scene of the 1990s and early 2000, passed away of natural causes on May 18th, 2021. Their life was their art

Longtime family and friends, Kevin Sniecinski and Paul King, Mistress of Ceremony, Raya Light, The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Inc. and Kochina Rude helping to manage the Live Drag Show, have organized this evening as a night of Celebration.  Performances and Remembrance of our dearly departed and memories shared, will include The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Inc., Raya Light, Peaches Christ, Glammamore, Juanita More, Krylon Superstar, Sister Roma, Matt Flynn, Moira Scar and a host of others. This group asks that you hold Phatima in love and light.

Please join us for a night to visit with friends, chosen family, and community as we remember an ICON lost too soon. Your purchase of a ticket goes to cover costs, no proceeds are for profit.

The night includes live performances by Zania Morgan and The Vivid

Drag Performances by: Puta, Suppositori Spelling, Hollow Eve, Abortia Klinik, Noveli, Trixxie Carr, Krylon Superstar, Raya Light and Kochina Rude.
