Posted on Categories queerguru.tvLabels , , , , ,

The Queerguru Team has interviewed several hundred drag queens/artistes over the years and once in a while one exceptional one stops us in our tracks . Lawanda Jackson is such a case. A headlining act in Las Vegas, a very successful career with a big global following until 2014 when a totally unexpected brain aneurysm and stroke knocked her down …… but far from out.

When you meet her now you will understand why this was far from the end of her story, but just another chapter. She was in PTown as a special guest performing at Anita Cocktail Provincetown Drag Bunch at Post Office Cafe and Cabaret and we jumped at the opportunity to share her story. Its one of love and is both inspiring and uplifting PLEASE check it out,  it will make your day so much better
