Daniel Lismore the man who Vogue Magazine once called ‘London’s Most Outrageous Dresser’ is currently enroute to Miami for his exhibition ‘Theater of Self’ which will open as part of Miami Art Week/Art Basel.  The 32 year-old 6’4″ British artist, fashion designer, stylist and self-styled eccentric has never been much of a wallflower “People are going to stare anyway so I think I may as well give them something to stare at.” and he does just that.

Lismore’s look is hard to pin down as he is usually swathed in layers of fabric and cultural artifacts and laden down with jewelry and accessories. He incorporates items of clothing that fuses cultures from his travels all around round and has a whole cornucopia of inspirations that range from geishas to garbage. To say that this iconic stylish man is unique is a vast understatement, as he is a one-off in the true sense of the word.

He currently acts as Circuit Ambassador at The Tate Gallery in London, Creative Director at SorapolBrand Ambassador at Illamasqua Makeup, and The Eccentric Development Secretary of the Eccentric Club.

The Exhibition …..destined to be one of the hot must-see Events of the whole week …. features more than 20 of Lismore’s most avant-garde, theatrically designed creations fashioned from his collection of couture and ephemera. They are complemented in the exhibition by cinematically styled self-portraits of Bin Feng, a SCAD graduate student and Shanghai-born artist living in the U.S.
