Oddly enough British based queer bookazine Elska that focuses on Local Boys + Local Stories has never featured guys from a UK city, that is until now. Its past issues have been based in Berlin, Istanbul, Tapei, Lisbon and even Reykjavik : all uniquely beautiful cities with uniquely individual men. Now at last issue no 7 is devoted to the Welsh capital city of Cardiff where the national sport is rugby, and where the locals prefer daffodils to roses, and where local-girl-turned-good Dame Shirley Bassey is their favorite gay icon.
What queerguru loves about Elska is the fact that the images of some real looking men of all shapes and sizes that fill their pages are local boys and not models, or celebrities. All of them are photographed in the streets and in their homes, in their own clothes and style or nude which in our book makes them hotter than hell. Each of them has their own story to tell too.
