queerguru got to sit down today with Senator Carole Migden and one of the directors Tracy Wares of Political Animals to talk about their documentary that is playing tonight and over the weekend at Provincetown International Film Festival #PIFF16.
Senator Migden was one of four fearless openly gay women in the California Legislature that pioneered some ground-breaking legislation that greatly helped shaped some of the freedoms that we in the LGBT community now take for granted today. This powerful movie so beautifully profiles an essential part of our evolving history, and is one of the best LGBT documentaries we have seen this year.
