WRECKAGE ‘a queer love story filled with loss, guilt, joy, and everything in between” : Turbine Theatre, London

Brit queer writer/actor Tom Ratcliffe is transferring his play WRECKAGE  to London after a very successful run at the Edinburgh Festival this summer.  The play, originally commissioned by the Harlow Playhouse is about a couple whose lives are disrupted by a sudden and permanent distance  “its a love story filled with loss, guilt, joy, and everything in between.”

Ratcliffe will co-star with  Michael Walters (The Inheritance) and will be directed by Rikki Beadle -Blair and produced by Rory Davies. Sadly Queerguru missed Edinburgh this year but Theatreworld wrote : This visceral new play is theatre at it’s finest, and Tom Ratcliffe’s searing script will leave you with a new sense of appreciation for life.  Wreckage is one of those must-see performances of the Fringe that audiences will be talking about for years to come.
