June 4th is marked in red in Queerguru’s diary. Its the start of a fabulously looking 8 part docuseries HOUSE ON FIRE  that follows the inner workings of the House of Miyake-Mugler.  It’s a wonderfull no-holds-barred candid glimpse at drag ball competitions, voguing, and “house culture” 30 years after the art form entered the cultural mainstream.

The trailer below previews some of the drama in the legendary House, while introducing many of the personalities that viewers can expect to fall in love with throughout the season: The heads of the House, Yusef Mugler and Exotic Mugler, mentor an array of children, including Tati, Roz, Lolita, Chanel, Brooklyn and aspiring member AJ.
