The Eagle is a name used by multiple gay bars around the globe. It is not a franchise or chain of gay bars, but rather a name adopted by bars inspired by The Eagle’s Nest, a leather bar in New York City. Bars that use the name “Eagle” typically cater to a clientele of gay men in leather and other ‘kink” subcultures. It’s a standard that the community looks forward to and welcome when they travel

Presently there are over 30 gay bars in locations around the world operating under the name “Eagle”, and one of the very best is in Sydney and they have made special plans to celebrate World Pride in their own inimitable fashion

The EAGLE BAR SYDney will have 2 rooms operating during WorldPride: the EAGLE BAR – Level 3 Burdekin Hotel. A bar atmosphere, opens early for a few pre-dinner drinks in a relaxed atmosphere The EAGLE SYD – Level 2 Burdekin Hotel wlll have a club atmosphere, nightly fetish themes, and DJs to keep your night going.

The EAGLE SYD will have an exciting program of events during Sydney World Pride 2023. you can go in ‘theme’, or just in your fetish of choice. They encourage you to wear your gear, but they don’t enforce a door policy. Go be yourself, #getyourgearon. They aim to provide a safe space for fetish folk to gather during Sydney World Pride.

The themes EAGLE is known for will definitely be back MAXIMUM FETISH, UN:RU:LE, RUBBEr, KICKr.
