For those of us in the LGBTQ Community, and beyond, we never stop thinking about out loved ones that we lost in the AIDS pandemic. Today however being WORLD AIDS DAY is a time when we collectively can take a moment to stop and just think about all the 40+ million people around the globe whose lives were cruelly taken so prematurely.
There are several organized events to mark the Day such as the AIDS Memorial Quilt Virtual Exhibition (see below). However if to wish to mark it quietly on your own, then there can be no better way than to listen to Ian Elmslie’s video of “I Miss Him”
Elmslie is a Brit actor, musician, composer, cabaret artiste, teacher, playwright and author who created this beautiful song, and is donating all the royalties to support GMFA
