Will we still Love Lucy after watching Aaron Sorkin’s Biopic?

 

Academy Award-winning writer/director Aaron Sorkin well known for his time for West Wing (of the White House) has now moved in to the Ricardos house.  The home of Lucille Ball and her husband Desi Arnaz.

His highly anticipated new movie Being The Ricardos  is about a  time when not everyone loved Lucy.  They are threatened by shocking personal accusations, a political smear and cultural taboos in this behind-the-scenes drama A revealing glimpse of the couple’s complex romantic and professional relationship, the film takes audiences into the writers’ room, onto the soundstage and behind closed doors with Ball and Arnaz during one critical production week of their groundbreaking sitcom “I Love Lucy.”

Starring Nicole Kidman (in a role that Cate Blanchett was originally cast ) and Javier Bardem. if the whole movie is as good as the trailer, then it definitely  goes on Queerguru’s must-see list 

Amazon  Studios will release BEING THE RICARDOS in theaters on December 10th, 2021 and then Globally 
on Prime Video December 21st, 2021
