Its a 20-minute queer comedy compilation which is a blend of stand-up clips, characters, drag, music from some of NY’s finest Highlights of the second edition that aired on April 6th and was hosted by DREW TESSIER & BOBBY HANKINSON starring a very manic Tyler Martin, funny lady Aarushi Agni stand up comedian Gus Constantellis and so much more
Velvet Variety also offers us a way of giving back to support these self-employed artists who have had their paying gigs cancelled for the foreseeable future. From across the Canadian border comes a new Web Series called. Avocado Toast an intergenerational sex comedy exploring the comforts and awkwardness of sex from age 25 to 69.
Ever wondered about your parents’ sex life? Neither did Molly (Heidi Lynch) and Elle (Perrie Voss) until coming out and divorce forced them to learn about their parents’ new sex-capades. After a lifetime of dating men, Molly (31, a grade eight teacher) surprises herself when she falls in love with a woman for the first time. When she finds the courage to come out as bisexual to her suburban parents, they empathetically reveal their own admission – they’re swingers and throw sex parties.
Meanwhile, Elle (33, a creative director) is reeling after learning her parents are divorcing and her mother, who also happens to be her boss, had an affair with a dude young enough to be Elle’s brother. To avoid the wrenching pain of her exploded family unit, Elle wages revenge in an eye-for- an-eye corporate takeover against her mother.
When Molly gets dumped, she reluctantly heeds dating advice from her sexually blossoming parents and clumsily embarks on the bisexual dating world while navigating her broken heart. As life as they knew it crumbles away and their love lives and careers become precarious, it’s their codependent friendship that takes all the heat. Finally, when the pressure cooker blows, they are shocked to realize that the nuts haven’t fallen so far from the tree.

Before it was a critically acclaimed, award-winning TV series Phoebe Waller-Bridge‘s Fleabag was a one-woman show that took the Edinburgh Fringe Festival by storm.
Last year, Waller-Bridge resurrected the original stage show for the West End and off-Broadway, and her performance was filmed by NT Live. Now SoHo Theatre in London and Amazon Prime Video are teaming up to offer “Fleabag for Charity” to help those in need during the current crisis.
Fleabag opens on a nameless woman played by Phoebe Waller-Bridge running late for a job interview. After a comical misunderstanding with the interviewer, who is played by a disembodied voice, we switch to the meat of the show: a long, stream-of-consciousness monologue in which “Fleabag” explains her messy, sex-obsessed, grief-stalked life.
As in the first season of the hit TV show, the lead character is struggling to keep her guinea pig-themed café open in the wake of her best friend Boo’s accidental suicide. Her boyfriend Harry dumps her, setting her off on a series of sad and horny encounters, and she has to deal with her fractured family. Again, as in the show, her mother has passed away from breast cancer. Her father has started dating her godmother and her sister Claire is being pulled between a dream job in Finland and a skeevy husband Martin.
