I think in Queerguru’s 7 Year history while we have featured countless gay men circuit/beach parties around the Globe, we have only covered one lesbian/nonbinary equivalent: The Dinah (named after the legendary women’s golfer Miss Shore)
So we pounced on the idea of a brand new women-only bash on Europe’s favorite party island Ibiza. Velvet Ibiza is an all-inclusive 5-day/5-night party for queer women running this year from 2nd May – 7th May, and looks destined to be a totally unmissable party.
Its founder Carine De Mesmaeker used to own a lesbian Club in Brussels, and since 2010 has organized a big party called “Velvet Sixty Nine” every 2-3 months in the center of Brussels.
Velvet Ibiza is an all-inclusive, five-day, five-night event at a resort, with tons of activities including pool parties, sports tournaments, and of course, plenty of dance parties with top DJs. It’s five whole days to meet hundreds of women from all over the world ..for whatever may happen.
And all-inclusive in this case means 3 meals a day – free drinks till 11 pm – all parties and all the other activities. So there are no worries about having extra expenses!
