Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley may really have topped themselves with the announcement about the latest set of guests to appear on their “Stars In The House” Series. On Wednesday, April 14th the iconic duo Sharon Gless and Tyne Daly from Queerguru’s favorite female-buddy cop TV show Cagney and Lacey. For the 6 years of its run, every year one or the other would deservedly win Emmy for Best Lead Actress in a Drama. It’s a record that still hasn’t been beaten to this day. The pair will be joined by Martin Kove who played Victor Isbeck on the show as they come together to talk about their time on the beloved series, which became the quintessential show for, and about, working women Maybe Rudesky will persuade Daly to sing. She did after all win a Tony for her performance in a revival of Gypsy in 1990. We are also hoping he will find time to talk with Gless about the news that Queer as Folk is being revived and her thoughts on who should play her old role of Debbie which she enchanted us with for 5 years Gless and Daly are appearing in Stars in The House to help The Actors Fund. The episode will live stream on the Stars In The House YouTube channel, and StarsInTheHouse.com, and fans will be able to ask questions live, and donate to The Actors Fund.
