Since REVRY launched in 2015 as the first queer global streaming media network it has built up a library of over 5000 LGBTQ with live TV, movies, series, news and exclusive originals programming available
Now they feel it’s time to focus more attention on the ‘L’ part of our queer community so they are announcing a new channel: RevryHer, which they promise will have the largest collection of queer content for women, with many titles also created by women.
Why the move now? Revry tells us that 46% of thier audience identify as female, plus they also count 37% of its audience are people of color .
The intitial offer will include such classic lesbian movies Cheryl Dunne’s The Watermelon Woman, and Female Trouble from the lesbian auteur Monika Treut’s whose films explore female sexuality and behavior. Plus Eric Sheaffer’s sex positive rom-com Boy Meets Girl from 2015 which is still one of our very fav trans movies
