With seemingly the whole of the UK up in arms about the major mess that the new Prime Minister has created in such a very short time, its about time that the country got some really good political news for a change.
The rather wonderful trans comedian and movie actor Eddie Izzard has officially announced her candidacy to become the Labour Party’s Parliamentary Candidate for Sheffield … an industrial town in the North of the UK. Eddie explained that “Labour ideals of fairness and equality have been at the core of my life.”

Natural it also attracted the attention of all the looney anti-trans crowd who started posting some nasty trans-phobic crude insults, with some blatantly misgendering her
But this was met with incredible pushback by the overwhelming amount of supporters, who called out those calling her a “mediocre man” despite the wave of incredible things she has done in the past, including at least 49 marathons for charity.
