Tony Hornecker is an internationally renowned artist and set designer. His installations have been staged in institutions such as The Royal College of Art, The Royal Opera House and The Architecture Foundation in London. He has a n extensive resume, but Queerguru knows him best as for his stunning cabaret and dining experience called The Pale Blue Door which put a whole new meaning into the word eclectic. It was staged amongst the many nooks and crannies of his elaborate home in Lindon’s East End.
It was a roaring success so much so that he took The Pale Blue Door as far and wide as Buenos Aires, Santiago, Berlin, Valparaiso, and Glastonbury Festival. and most recently at Sidney’s WorldPride (see https://queerguru.com/paradise-behind-the-pale-blue-door/)
In 2019 Tony opened thehorneckercentre.com, a gallery, and events space showcasing local talents and is the workshop and his own headquarters. In May it will host a dinner with Dr Agony Aunty Pet (aka A Man To Pet) who promises to sort out all your worries and fear. She’ll sort you out!
