Brit queer icon Boy George is back with his (old) new wave band Culture Club and they have just released their first brand new single for 20 years : Let Somebody Love. It’s from their fourth studio album ‘Life’ which was produced by Future Cut and written by George, Roy Hay, Mikey Craig, Jon Moss and Richie Stevens and will be released in October.
Since their inception in 1981 Culture Club have sold more than 150 million records worldwide, and as well as creating memorable music, they were also the very first multi-racial band with an openly gay front man.
This November they embark on ‘The Life Tour’ around the Uk which will also feature Belinda Carlisle and synth pop artist Thompson Twins’ Tom Bailey.
The Swedish pop-singer Robyn is back after an eight year hiatus. While she was ‘away’ she released new experimental music working with the likes of Röyksopp and Mr. Tophat, which didn’t really appease her loyal fans, but with the release of “Missing” they can all start dancing again
P.S. Queerguru would love you to bits if you did us one tiny favor. Despite the fact that we have had almost 275K hits on YouTube (yeah!) they will not give us a single cent of the advertising money that they make off us until we have more subscribers. Won’t cost you a dime, but it will help support our site. Just simply click on the link below. Thank you very much!
