The World’s 11th Smallest Country legalizes same-sex Marriage

When this health crisis is finally over and The Fat Lady Has Sung, you’ll probably need a vacation.  The principality of Andorra may not appear on the top of your list, but now it does have two very good things going for it.

It maybe 16th-smallest country in the world by land and the 11th-smallest by population BUT it has the highest life expectancy in the world at 81 years.   And from next month it will also have legalized same sex marriage!

Congrats Andorra although we are not really sure how many LGBTQ folk live there how will be able to take advantage of the new law, but there must be a few amongst the 77, 000 that live there full-time.

So forget Miami Beach and  West Hollywood this summer and make tracks to this tiny spit of land squeezed in between Portugal and Spain, and maybe have an engagement ring ready …just in case.

P.S. If you are hoping there maybe an eligible Prince in this Principality then you are going to be sorely  disappointed.  The two titular joint “Princes’  are the President of France and the Catholic bishop of Urgell (Catalonia, Spain) and neither of them the marrying kind.
