The Many Lives Of Mary Woronov: An Ebersole + Hughes Megaspective

Queerguru favorite queer filmmakers  (and by far the most stylish) married couple P. David Ebersole & Todd Hughes (House of Cardin, Mansfield 66/67) are presening a month-long “megaspective” in Palm Springs, CA (Feb 25 – March 18) to celebrate another of their idols.

This month-long tribute is in honor of legendary actress Mary Woronov.  She has appeared in over 80 movies having first made headlines as a Warhol Factory “Superstar,” in her role as Hanoi Hannah in Chelsea Girls.   She was in Roger Corman films,  Paul Bartel‘s cult classic, Eating Raoul, was also in Death Race 2000 and Rock ‘n’ Roll High School,

Woronov was recently featured in the acclaimed Apple+ documentary, The Velvet Underground speaking of her dancing with the Exploding Plastic Inevitable, Warhol’s multimedia presentation of the Velvets.
