The Drag Experiment, Sydney Australia : scientists by day, drag queens by night

If you think that all Drag Queens are just a combination of excessive makeup, wigs as high as God, and outrageous outfits no working girl would ever, and a potty mouth, then this coterie will prove you very wrong.  The members of The Drag Experiment in Sydney Australia are all this and more.  Every one of them is a Drag Queen by night but a scientist by day!

They interweave their drag performances with scientific concepts and research. and then have a panel discussion where they answer the queerest of questions.

Headlined by four phenomenal people who are by day and drag performers by night. You’ll be dazzled with show stopping drag performances interwoven with scientific concepts and research. Hosted by Dr Naomi Koh Belic, your resident bimbo biologist and flaming homosexual. The worlds of art and culinary science collide in Radha, who will be cooking up a storm. Lee Constable, science communication extraordinaire for The Conversation and previously for Scope will be introducing you to Milton MANgo, a country bloke who cracks a whip. You’ll get to meet Dyan Tai, the gaysian empress of Sydney and legend behind Worship Queer Collective who will conduct a live music experiment. And Diva Attenbra, wildlife biologist at UNSW, drag performer and comedian who will be teaching you about gay animals – after all it’s only natural.
