The Butch Monologues are a powerful and often humorous collection of secret stories exploring sexuality, vulnerability, and desire taken from interviews with butches, masculine women and transmen, living worldwide.
Originally a London-based group of butches, transmen and gender rebels brought together in friendship and solidarity have been touring the globe since 2015 with this show. it has been staged at sell-out shows at venues and festivals worldwide, including the UK, Ireland, and New York Abron Arts, La Mama, Outburst, Shout!, Homotopia, L Fest, Just Like a Woman.
The company brought the show back to the UK for a final sold-out performance in Hastings (The Stables, August 2021), and now it is being made available to online audiences across the globe This digital performance : two evenings with two different casts reading your favourite butch, non-binary & gender fluid stories: will be streaming Wednesday 20th October – 6.30pm Friday 22nd October – 6.30pm UK time.
