“The Boy’s in the Band” is coming back and about to make a really big splash on Broadway this Spring to celebrate its 50th Anniversary. Mart Crowley’s controversial landmark play: the first ever mainstream one to depict real gay men, warts and all, is having a real all-star, and even more importantly, all-gay cast.
Produced by Ryan Murphy and directed by Joe Mantello it will open at the Booth Theater on 4/30 with Jim Parsons, Zachary Quinto, Matt Bomer, Andrew Rannells, Charlie Carver, Robin De Jesús, Brian Hutchinson, Michael Benjamin Washington, and Tuc Watkins
Beware though , the Show which will undoubtedly be THE hot ticket on Broadway this season, is running for 15 weeks only, so better book now.
