The very best of Pentatonix acapella celebrating Christmas their way

Pentatonix the  American a cappella group from Arlington, Texas, currently consisting of vocalists Mitch Grassi, Scott Hoying, Kirstin MaldonadoKevin Olusola, and Matt Sallee has a thing about Christmas. Since they formed in 2011 they have been producing cover versions of modern pop works or Christmas songs, sometimes in the form of medleys, along with original material.  Scott Hoying and Mitch Grassi are the only openly gay members of Pentatonix. but the group as a whole is very vocal about their support for the LGBTQ community.

After breaking away from Sony Music the group formed its YouTube channel which currently has 19.8 million subscribers and 5.7 billion views. In particular, the group’s video tribute to Daft Punk had received more than 364 million views as of November 17, 2022.

Queerguru has studied their channel in depth to come up with our
FAVORITE PENTATONIX CHRISTMAS SONGS

From their latest album  “AROUND THE WORLD FOR THE HOLIDAYS” comes a rather wonderful take on George Michael’s ‘Last Christmas’ featuring Hikakin and Seikin

Thank You is an original song written Scott Hoying  and his bf/fiance Mark Manio and recorded for Pentatonix 2020 Christmas Album and is definitely one of their best tracks

Pentatonix actually manage to interpret Stevie Wonder’s I JUST CALLED TO SAY I LOVE YOU  into a beautiful holiday song.

So many artists have recorded their version of the Leonard Cohen classic HALLELUJAH which tells a story of a broken love, true love remembered and mourned, guilt, penance, and of finding peace and we think that Pentatonix’s is one of the best.

That’s Christmas to Me is from their third studio album which featured previously unreleased material. It peaked at number 2 on the Billboard 200 and has been certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America..By year’s end, December 31, 2014, it reached a final 2014 total of 1.14 million copies sold, becoming the 4th best-selling album of 2014 by any artist of any genre.
