The 35th annual Greater Palm Springs Pride Festival is in full swing NOW

 

 

The 35th annual Greater Palm Springs Pride Festival has returned from its in-person hiatus, and it promises to be bigger and better than ever. Check out what’s on this sunny Sunday

 

Pride Festival 2021

When: 11 a.m.  Sunday, Nov. 7

Where: On Palm Canyon Drive between Amado and Tahquitz and on the streets around the new downtown park on Museum Way, Palm Springs

Celebrate the epic return of Pride Week with performances by Third Eye Blind, Jody Watley, A Flock of Seagulls, The Robyn Party, Shannon and Jeanie Tracy. Snack or grab a drink, then shop the more than 200 exhibitors, nonprofit organizations and vendors on hand. This event also will feature HIV/AIDS testing by Get Tested Coachella Valley.

 

 

Art of Pride

When:  11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7

Where: Downtown Park near the intersection of Belardo Road and Museum Way, Palm Springs

Peruse this live, on-site exhibition of work by Coachella Valley LGBTQ artists of mediums ranging from painting and photography to glass and ceramics. Browse and purchase directly from the artists.

 

PS Drag Brunch

When: 9 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 7

Where: 1107 N. Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs

Kick off parade day with a morning full of boys in bikinis, dim sum and a “top-tier” drag show (hosted by resident leading lady Rosemary Galore), all accompanied by ideal balcony views of the Pride Parade step-off point.

 

Pride Brunch

When: 9 a.m.-Noon Sunday, Nov. 7

Enjoy a three-course Pride Brunch while helping your local Pride organization. Trio Parade Party

Pride Parade

When: 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7

Where: Uptown Design District at Tachevah and Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs

Palm Springs’ most colorful parade starts in the Uptown Design District at Tachevah and Palm Canyon Drive and travels south through downtown, ending at the entrance to the Pride Festival at Amado. Gather under the Coachella Valley sunshine to cheer and support local organizations, activists and of course, fabulous floats.

 

Skater Girlz After Parade Party

When: 2-10 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7

Where: The Alibi Palm Springs, 369 N. Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs

Hang with the girls at this queer, lesbian and trans women’s parade after party. Enjoy live entertainment from host/comedian Mina Hartong and singer/songwriter Jennifer Corday, a dance party and sporting awards that will be bestowed upon women who have given their talents to sports in the community. Food will be available.
