When we become ‘seniors’, we so want to be a Patricia Fox. She is an Interior Decorator and Color Specialist who has the most inspired sense of personal style and soul that we would kill to have. Her keen eye and innate sense of style, coupled with years of interior decorating experience, magically transform a dull space into a cheerful, serene one. Patricia’s principles and philosophy make it simple: REFINE in a day, REFRESH in a week, REFURBISH in a month, or much more!
We discovered her on Instagram, where she simply ‘SLAYS’ : check below sp we had to know more
This is part of her story so far : Growing up with a Mother who acted out her “fashion icon of the moment” fantasies by dressing up and emulating them was strange, amusing and magical.
There was Queen Elizabeth of England, so we bought two English Pugs. Then, Jacqueline Kennedy America’s First Lady, who was known for pillbox hats. My Mom had them made in all colors. Lastly, Elizabeth Taylor, the movie star, (who my Mom resembled) inspired her glamour girl look.
My wardrobe collection started in an opium den – like vintage clothing store that was across the street from where I was living on the Upper Eastside of Manhattan. I still wear some of those pieces.
I am a colorful person living in a beige world creative, whimsical, feeling confident.
I love to interact with people who approach me on the street usually to give a compliment or to ask a question about my dress. We learn so much from each other and I am flattered. Being “out there” is fun!
