With the fabulously queer Academy Award winner and one-time Tony Nominee Ariana Debose hosting the 75th Annual TONY AWARDS there is every good reason to 
watch the ceremony this year. The show will feature two parts: a one-hour awards-focused segment streamed on Paramount+, which will be followed by a three-hour performance-heavy segment to be broadcast on television by CBS. And we know the perfect place to both watch and party if you happen to be in NY ….. and NO it’s not the Radio City Music Hall, but Joe’s Pub .
Its hosted by our friends The Skivvies who are Lauren Molina and Nick Cearley, singer/actor/musicians who perform stripped-down arrangements of eclectic covers and eccentric originals. Not only is the music stripped down – cello, ukulele, glockenspiel, melodica – but the Skivvies literally strip down to their underwear to perform.
The live broadcast of the Awards will be shown on Joe’s Pub’s giant screen with a smattering of stripped-down versions of songs that were (or should have been) nominated: eclectic covers, comedic, genre-hopping mash-ups during those pesky commercial breaks. As always special guests join the band for a night of show tunes and undie rock.
