From queer two-time Academy Award Winning duo Jeffrey Friedman and Rob Epstein comes a brand new documentary the STATE OF PRIDE that premiered at SXSW Festival earlier this year and is now due to be released on YouTube in May 29th.
Their film examines the evolution of Gay Pride over the past 50 years with interviews with a wide array of members of the LGBTQ community who discuss the significance that Pride celebrations play in their lives.
Friedman and Epstein’s previous queer docs are The Times of Harvey Milk, Common Threads: Stories from the Quilt, The Celluloid Closet, Paragraph 175 as well as the feature film Howl.
