British TV programme Strictly Come Dancing has never been shy at pushing the envelope when it comes to pairing dances, but this time they really excelled themselves Last Sunday evening professional dancers Nikita Kuzmin and Vito Coppola.
Dancing to a cover version of the Coldplay track, “Something Just Like This” their routine was easily the most passionate and romantic ever seen on the program. Amongst all the rave reactions and praise was a note on Twitter from Sir Matthew Bourne one of the UK’s most respected choreographers and creator of the all-male version of Swan Lake,
Sir Matthew wrote, “Once again @bbcstrictly way, way ahead of all the worlds Classical Ballet companies in gay representation – and this on prime time Sunday night TV! Bravo Strictly!!”
