Russian Restaurant Owners and their staff, like the crew from Funky Food 11 restaurant in the photo above, are so pissed with the Authorities about being stripped of their livelihoods during the continuing Lockdown they are literally stripping naked.
Hundreds of bar, restaurant and cafe employees have taken to posting pictures photographs of themselves naked with carefully positioned plates, cups, saucepans, bottles, bar stools and napkin holders. We see a potential calendar in this and then maybe in future Russians could select where to eat based on reasons other than the food menu.
This new trend has even reached the cities like Novosibirsk in the bitter cold of Siberia “We don’t want to stage a strip show or to fool around, we only want one thing – to work!” said Pavel one of the chefs. Sadly the journalist he was talking too didn’t follow through by asking exactly what Siberians mean by ‘fooling around’.
Putin thinking of himself no doubt, is permitting Moscow cafes and restaurants to open their outside terraces later in June before reopening fully from June 23. But restaurants and bars will have to remain closed in other parts of Russia (he obviously doesn’t visit)
